Carmel Tre’Andre Valentine is an immigrant of mixed ancestry from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. They have over 10 years of experience in the anti-violence movement and DEI work specializing in LGBTQ+ inclusion through an anti-oppression framework. Carmel serves on the board of Trans Resistance and the Y2Y Network. He is also a member of the Mental Health and Medical Advisory Group for Gender Spectrum.
